Primary School Grinds
Tuition is available to primary school students in Irish, English and Maths. We currently enrol students from Senior Infants to Sixth Class.
Before enrolling in an Irish, English or Maths programme, the student is given an academic assessment which identifies his/her strengths and weaknesses. Using a combination of standardised and diagnostic tests, this is done to enable us to develop a personalised programme of study which targets the student's specific learning requirements. At the end of the programme, the student is re-assessed in order to ensure that the learning targets set at the beginning of the programme have been achieved.
If you'd like more information on the assessment procedure, read more here.
Primary school students can enrol at any time of the year. Each programme is 16 weeks long and classes run for one hour on a weekly basis. Throughout the programme, the students' progress is continually monitored and learning activities are adapted to suit their needs and abilities.
